DVLA Check Code Requirement
We require a DVLA check code to verify the status of your UK driving licence. This allows us to confirm your eligibility to drive, check for penalty points, and ensure there are no disqualifications on your record.
Providing your DVLA check code is mandatory if you want to use Relay’s Aviva insurance - particularly for car couriers, as there are specific eligibility requirements. For example:
- You must hold a full UK driving licence for at least 12 months (for car drivers)
- You must have no major driving convictions
You can generate your DVLA check code here:
You’ll need the following:
- Your UK driving licence number
- Your National Insurance number
- The postcode shown on your licence
⚠️ Important: The DVLA check code is case-sensitive, so please enter it exactly as displayed on the DVLA website when adding it in the Relay Copilot app during onboarding.
