Understanding the New Priority Access Requirements: To ensure fairness and reward our most dedicated drivers, we've updated the criteria for Priority Access. This section outlines the specific requirements you'll need to meet to gain early access to shift bookings.

Q: What is Priority Booking?

A: Priority Booking gives eligible drivers the opportunity to book upcoming shifts 48 hours before they are released to all other drivers. Priority booking opens every Monday at 6 pm for the following week's shifts.

Q: When is the Priority Access criteria changing?

A: The updated criteria for Priority Access will take effect starting on Monday, April 28th.

Q: What are the new criteria to qualify for Priority Access?

A: To qualify for Priority Access, you must meet ALL of the following criteria over the previous 4 weeks:

  • Consistent Commitment: Complete at least 12 shifts.
  • Reliability: Have fewer than 2 late cancellations.
  • Dependability: Zero no-shows.
  • Proof of Delivery (POD) Compliance: Maintain a POD compliance rate of 90% or better.

Q: How are weekend shifts counted towards the "Consistent Commitment" criteria?

A: If you complete shifts on the weekend, each weekend shift will count as two shifts towards the "Consistent Commitment" requirement of completing at least 12 shifts over the previous 4 weeks.

Q: How will I know if I have Priority Access for the upcoming week?

A: Every Monday, you will receive an email confirming whether or not you have been added to the Priority List for the following week's shift release.

Q: Does having strikes prevent me from getting Priority Access?

A: No, having strikes does not prevent you from gaining Priority Access, as long as you meet all the updated criteria for Consistent Commitment, Reliability, Dependability, and POD Compliance.

Q: What if I have questions or need clarification on the new Priority Access system?

A: Please feel free to reach out to us if you have any questions or need anything clarified. We're here to help!

Going forward, our valued Priority Access drivers will be asked to assist with the onboarding of new drivers by allowing them to shadow during a shift. As a thank you for their time and expertise in helping new team members, priority drivers will receive an additional payment of £40 on top of their regular shift pay for each shadowing shift they undertake. You will be informed in advance if you are scheduled to have a new driver shadowing you.
