If you plan to use Relay’s Aviva top-up insurance, you must meet certain criteria to be eligible. These include:

- You must be at least 21 years old

- You must have held a full UK driving licence for at least 12 months

- You must not have been involved in two or more fault accidents in the last 3 years

You must have no major driving convictions in the last 5 years (e.g. AC, BA, CD, DD, DR, DG, IN, LC, TT99, UT50, XX)

You must not have been disqualified from driving in the past 5 years

You must not have had insurance declined, cancelled or voided

You must not be awaiting a DVLA decision about a declared medical condition

You must provide accurate information - invalid or missing details may void your cover

These checks are in place to make sure your insurance is valid and that you're safe to drive.
