Yes, Relay offers an optional top-up Hire and Reward insurance through Aviva, exclusively for Middle Mile Van drivers whilst delivering with us.

To be eligible, you must already have comprehensive vehicle insurance that includes Social, Domestic & Pleasure (SD&P) cover - this is your standard personal-use insurance and is legally required for any vehicle not declared off-road (SORN).

The Aviva policy provides Third Party Only cover and only applies while you’re actively completing Relay deliveries. It does not apply when working for other companies or using your vehicle for personal errands.

£5.00 for vans

How to sign up: During your application process, we’ll ask whether you already have Hire and Reward insurance. If not, you’ll have the option to opt in to the Aviva policy. We'll need your DVLA check code to check you meet our requirements.

Once approved, the insurance activates automatically whenever you go online and you only pay for the days you work.
